The Funeral Co-operative of Ottawa is seeking a licenced, bilingual funeral director with an entrepreneurial mindset to help run the day-to-day operations of a not-for-profit, growing funeral business while supporting the efforts and workflow of the managing funeral director.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver the full range of funeral services to our members, including pre-arrangements, while sharing the administrative tasks required to maintain day-to-day operations. The position requires a variety of skills, the most important of which are time management, task prioritization, critical thinking, and self-care.

Candidates must be fully bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken, possess a valid Class 1 Funeral Director’s Licence in good standing, a valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driving record, and immediate access to a vehicle during working hours.
